The Port of Dundee is a gateway to the historic City of Dundee, Angus, Fife (St Andrews), Perthshire and the Trossachs and is located close next to City Quay and the rejuvenated Dundee Waterfront.

Please note all passengers must report to the specially designated ‘Cruise Traffic’ area at East Camperdown Street, Dundee.

Passengers being dropped off at the Port: Passengers should be aware that the Dundee Cruise Terminal is located within the secure port facility. Independent passengers arriving at the port should follow the signs for the ‘Cruise Traffic’ area. From this area passengers’ main luggage will be taken from them and delivered directly to the vessel – please ensure that all large pieces of luggage are clearly identified with the labels provided with your tickets. Spare tickets will be available at the port on arrival.


By Road

From M90 (the South): Travel on the M9 to Perth. Proceed on the dual carriageway A90 to Dundee. On approaching Dundee, there is a roundabout at the Double Tree Hotel (Double Tree Hotel is on your left) take the third exit marked to the City Centre and Airport (A85). Continue on A85 past the airport and continue, passing Tesco on your left Approaching traffic lights at railway station, you will see Discovery Point on your right, continue on A92 along Dock Street to traffic lights, Turn right onto W Victoria Dock Road, signposted Apex Hotel/City Quay, then left onto Camperdown Street, Dundee DD1 3LG continue along this road until you reach the manned security barrier (operational - 2 hrs prior to embarkation and up to 30mins before sailing) Security Personnel will direct you from there.

From A90 (the North): Travel on the A90 to Dundee, straight through first set of traffic lights. At 2nd set of traffic lights turn left onto Kingsway sign posted Harbour. Go straight through 2 roundabouts, at 3rd roundabout take 4th exit onto Greendykes Road, sign posted Harbour. Follow road down through 1 roundabout, then straight through traffic lights onto Broughty Ferry Road.

Keep in left lane, as you will need to take a slip road as you are going round the next bend. At the bottom of the hill, take a sharp left, over the rail bridge, down to small roundabout, veer to the right continue follow the signs 'Cruise Traffic' along East Camperdown Street and you will be met by Security Personnel.


Car Park

Forth Ports (Dundee) in conjunction with Cruise & Maritime Voyages are pleased to offer car parking which is located within the port area. Car parking must be pre-booked with your tour operator or travel agent. On arrival at the port, drive to the Cruise Terminal where your luggage will be collected by the baggage porter’s to be taken directly through security and onto the ship. Once your luggage has been collected you will be given directions to the car park. Please ensure that the Car Park Permit is clearly displayed in the windscreen of your vehicle before leaving your vehicle. The Car Parking permit will be included in your Final Cruise Documentation Pack.

By Rail

Dundee Railway Station is approximately 1.5 miles from the Passenger Arrivals Area. On foot – turn left on exit and follow the hoardings round until you see Malmaison Hotel. Cross over the road and walk along the side of hotel on Dock Street passing Holiday Inn Express then cross over at the pedestrian lights to City Quay (you will see the Apex Hotel) Turn left onto Camperdown Street towards King George V Wharf Road, the Passenger Arrivals area will be on your right hand side.
